Northeastern
Library online: Snell Library’s online Research and Information
Gateway is an excellent resource. You'll have access to
- article and document databases
- periodical indexes & abstracts
- research guides by subject
- guides on citation, plagiarism (how to avoid it), identifying scholarly
articles, evaluating web resources
- ... and much more.

The Internet Sleuth maintains an
index of thousands of searchable databases and helps you find the database
you want and do your search without leaving The Sleuth site. If you are
familiar with web searching, the site is self-explanatory; if you need
help, click on "about iSleuth" at the bottom of the main page.

Electronic
texts: This site lists electronic texts available on the internet—novels,
phone books, encyclopedias, maps, dictionaries, lists of databases, and
much more.

Research
and Documentation in the Electronic Age offers research resources
in various disciplines and how to document them in five styles: ACW, MLA,
Chicago, APA, CBE.
